No responsible driller can guarantee groundwater before drilling. Local knowledge and site information improve the decision, but geology varies from one property to the next. We believe in setting that expectation clearly before work begins.
03Can borehole or wellpoint water be used for drinking?+
Groundwater should not be assumed safe to drink. Its quality varies by location and season, so laboratory testing and, where necessary, appropriate treatment are important before any potable use.
04Do I need permission in Cape Town?+
Yes. The City of Cape Town says property owners must apply at least 14 days before sinking a new borehole or wellpoint, and register it after installation. We recommend checking the latest City requirements before work starts.
